One For Our Dental Customers

We've introduced a range of 41 x 31cm Dental Drawer Inserts for our medical and dental customers.
Aimed at those customers refurbishing dental surgeries, we hope they'll appeal to both customers buying our dental sink packs and also to anyone wanting storage trays - dentists, labs, GP practices etc.
Made from 2.5mm thick high impact polystyrene (HIPS) by Hafele, they are sized to fit most drawers used and come in 2 heights to suit both shallow and deep drawers.

NHS Recommended

All the good things seem to happen when I'm out the office!
A GP practice manager contacted us today to order one of our Lecico medical sinks which was needed urgently - he had been badly let down on a Twyfords sink which incidentally was double the cost of ours.
His order was placed lunchtime today and we've arranged for him to receive it tomorrow.
He told us how impressed he was, not just with our service but with the manner in which we dealt with him and communicated with him.
He said that not only will he be recommending us to other practices within their  area group but will be listing Lime Kitchen & bathroom as a recommended online  supplier for NHS users.
It's funny how we try so hard to impress and nine times out of ten people take our service for granted - then something like this happens purely as a result of us doing what we would do anyway for our customers.

1810 Company Sinks

We've added two of the most popular configuration sinks made by the 1810 Sink Company
Their Velore models are higher end models made from 0.8mm gauge stainless  to help reduce flexing and provide a more rigid structure (we've all seen how flimsy some of the cheap sinks are).
They are available as bowl with drainer and bowl and a half with drainer - models that are the best selling of all kitchen sinks.
Each one is reversible and comes with all the bits need to fit it - wastes, fixings, tap hole cover and even a plumbing kit for under the waste.
This now means that Lime Kitchen & Bathroom now offers over 20 basic kitchen sinks plus a nice selection of both designer sinks and speciality TM64 compliant sinks for use in the medical and dental markets.

Traditional Kitchen Taps

Anyone who has read this blog previously will know that we're trying to specialise in what we sell.
I've said many times that competing on normal products is a no win situation...too much competition, too little margin, nothing to stand out with etc etc.
So on the kitchen front our area of speciality is gold plated taps and traditional taps.
Both areas have been continually expanded, the latest product as seen in the picture is Traditional Belfast Pillar Taps, a pair of classic bib taps mounted on pillar legs to suit country kitchens with Belfast or butler sinks.

Gold Tap Aerators

We've added gold tap aerators to our range of replacement tap aerators, which currently have only been available in chrome.
This won't be the biggest seller on earth but  a useful part for customers with gold taps who need to replace their aerators.
It also is part of our strategy to keep building the products available in gold selling anything from gold taps through to bits and pieces needed to repair them.

Changing our category descriptions

We did have categories named as 'For the bathroom' or 'For the kitchen' but I thought that all the titles ranging from the page title through to the category description did not reflect what we do.
After all what does for the kitchen cover? It could be pots and pans!
So I have changed them to titles such as Kitchen taps & sinks which says what we do ( we also do a few extras such as bins but didn't feel they should go in)
This is aimed both at making it clearer for visitors and also to help us on the search engines. If we get found more on the search engines, then we should have more visitors looking and ergo more people buying.
That's the theory anyway!

HTM64

Whilst we offer a premium range of HTM64 Taps made by Intatec, we offer a comprehensive range of supporting wash hand sinks, bowls and basins to match these taps plus complimentary products ranging from hand hygiene equipment through to sanitary silicone sealant.
There are numerous points of compliance such as tap hole centres (200mm as against 180mm on non compliant sinks), recommended waste/trap configurations that HTM64 products need to meet.
Not only do these products comply but they're backed up with a level of service, support and expertise that many customers praise us for.
I wish they'd tell others more as that's the best form of advertising you can get!
