Every business should have a special USP and at Lime we think that ours is sourcing for our customers useful products that are hard to find elsewhere.
The latest products to fill this gap are top fixing toilet seat hinges, gold plated hinges and  replacement lever handles for taps - all products that customers seem to have trouble finding elsewhere.

Contract Bathroom & Kitchen Taps

We're upgrading our Contract Taps  category so that it will now be broken down into 3 subcategories
They will be the 'Easy Lever' taps, new contract handled 'wind down' taps and the Skara range of quarter turn short lever taps by Alliance Sanitary Products
These new ranges means that Lime will be offering one of the most comprehensive ranges of contract taps to builders, landlords, commercial and trade users.

Commercial Use

We've renamed our Commercial Use category to Commercial Use & Temperature Controls.
The reason we have done this is to reflect the safety thermostatic blending valves that are available in the product category.
They are recommended for fitting into public use buildings and in particular are vital for non adjustable taps such as infra-red sensor taps
Temperature control valves are available in both TMV2  (private use) and TMV3 (public use) approvals

Toilet Seat Spares

We plan to make toilet seat spares a major sales category for us.
We are currently working on a range of small pre-packed spares which we think could become consistent sellers  (small money but big volume)
The newest product in our range is the 'L' shaped replacement hinge set for fitting to plastic seats and traditional colour resin seats from manufacturers such as Celmac. Being made from stainless steel, these hinges will suit all the most popular colours such as avocado, pampas, ivory, champagne, primrose, sky blue etc....

Looking after customers

There is a higher delivery charge to Northern Ireland and Eire simply because our couriers charge us more.
When we get an order for a small item which we are able to send it Royal Mail, we will refund the customer the extra delivery cost and simply charge the standard £4.95 cost
We don't have to but we think it's the right thing to do because treating customers fairly means a lot to us

We're delighted to now supply the Coram range of overbath shower screens.
Manufactured in the UK (which is a bonus nowadays), Corams' shower screens are feature packed products engineered from anodised aluminium and safety toughened glass yet prices start from under £70

Pland Stainless

Pland Stainless are joining us a supplier for stainless steel health related products including no hole sinks , food use wash basins and HTM64 surgeons scrub up troughs

Latest Health Requirements

The latest health requirements from the government will require many doctors surgeries to upgrade their facilities for optimum best practice and  infection control
To this end we are extending our medical and healthcare products with the introduction of Cobra Hospital taps together with stainless steel bowls,sinks and other hygiene fittings made by Pland

Fire Retardent Shower Curtains

You wouldn't think it but some authorities require public buildings to be fitted with fire retardant shower curtains (due to people smoking)
To cater to this requirement we've intoduced them in 2 sizes - standard and oversized, made from specially treated polyester that conforms to safety standard UNI8456

Carrara & Matta - Our latest supplier

Our latest supplier is Carrara & Matta, who will be supplying a range of feature packed speciality toilet seats including luxury family seats, disabled use seats, seats with hygienic hinges and seats with sta-tite never loosen again hinges

Cistern not flushing?

If your cistern isn't flushing properly, you may not necessarily need  to replace the complete syphon.
You may just need to replace the push button itself which will save you time and money and is quick and easy to do.

Reorganised cistern spares

A major change...Already!

It was apparent that we would have to reorganise Lime as the product ranges have been growing so quickly and were becoming a bit unwieldy
We needed to change layout to make navigation easier and make product search more orderly.
Gary has done this by creating 3 main categories: 'For the Bathroom', 'For the Kitchen' and 'For the Shower'
Each category now containing all related  products eg under bathrooms there are categories for taps, bathroom accessories, toilet seats, cabinets etc
Any speciality categories such as spares or medical will remain separate

With the hosepipe ban imminent,  people will be looking for any way to reduce water consumption.
