Cistern spares

We've improved our cistern spares category (well at least we think so) by separating out cistern spares into two sections: cistern spares which was the original category that contained everything now contains flushing spares such as the flush and fill valves, seals and fixings and Handles & Levers which is the new category to contain the cistern levers handles and pulls.

Paddle Shower Handsets

We've introduced Spanish made Paddle Shower Heads to our shower handset range.
Available in square or rectangular styles, these feature rich luxury heads include rub clean anti limescale nozzles, water saving eco systems and a special mechanism that combines the water with air to produce a soft luxurious champagne style jet.
They're due in from Spain middle of January

Catering & Medical Work Tables

To meet the demand from healthcare and food industry users, Lime have introduced a range of work tables designed to be sited against the wall.
The tables range in size from 600mm wide up to 1500mm width and are made from pure 304 grade stainless steel to suit the high hygienic standards required by medical and food industry users.
Each table incorporates an integral upstand to produce a hygienic splashback when butted against the walls.

Extended Inta Taps range

Timed flow (non concussive) taps are being increasingly specified as they are both water and energy saving. In addition the limited timed flow means that the risk of flooding is minimised - something that is particularly relevant in commercial washrooms and schools.
To meet this demand, we have expanded the Inta taps range of timed flow taps available from stock for immediate despatch.

Timed Flow Lever Shower

New (and unique) to the UK, we are delighted to offer our special  lever timed flow shower control with easy use joystick lever operation.
It just requires a push of the lever in any direction to produce a timed flow shower.
The design combines water and energy saving with ease of use so not only is it suitable for public use, it also makes showering considerably easier for the elderly and less abled who can operate it using hand, wrist arm or elbow with ease.

Commercial Low Pressure Taps

Our latest addition are specially made low pressure taps with special spray nozzles for use with limited/low pressure water supplies.
These taps are fitted with unique nozzles that produce a wide needle like spray which looks good whilst actually using very little water thus being ideal for washrooms with either very low pressure or with limited water available such as in trains, coach toilets or portable toilet.

Proximity Taps

We've created a new category - Proximity Taps
This allows us to move out the touch activated electronic taps together with new Capacitive 'proximity' taps made by Pegler Performa.
The exciting benefit of proximity/capacitive taps is that they work by simply breaking the force field close to the tap. This means it's not affected by light conditions, dirt on the sensor panel or even high vis clothing.

Anti-Microbial Taps

People like the look of chrome taps - the surface is glossy, smooth and looks good. But where  infection prevention is concerned it's not the best.
If you're after fighting bacteria, then copper surfaces are out in front.They may not have the same appealing surface but they're proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria within 2 hours of contact.
So for those customers looking for as many areas as possible for controlling the spread of infection, we've added healthcare grade basin and sinks taps in copper to our Pegler Performa+ collection: Anti-Microbial Copper Taps

Water Saving School Taps

We've been busy adding to our speciality commercial taps.
Most of the new products are self closing taps for handwash basins or showers aimed at anyone from a restaurant to a health club (where we have timed showers plus some new drinking fountain bubblers). But the ones I love are the new Pinocchio school taps - fun designs in either lever or self closing styles for junior and infant nursery schools that combine ease of use with an appeal that will encourage kids to wash their hands and build a good hygiene ethic.

Burns Prevention

At Lime we're working very hard on burns prevention in bathing and are pleased to be able to help charities in this field provide information and advice to prevent burns and scalding where our advice is free to anyone who calls!
Of course we have products we can recommend which are aimed at anyone at risk particularly the very young, elderly and less abled.
Principal areas that we work on are Safety Blending Valves to ensure safe maximum temperature which are combined with Easy operation taps that anyone with reduced mobility will find much easier to operate

Commercial Kitchen Taps

Our commercial kitchen taps range goes from strength to strength. The latest additions are tap bodies for kitchen washstations and pre rinse columns.
Newly introduced are wall and deck mounted bodies made by Genebre of Spain (the image shows the wall mounted single lever mixer tap)

Here's a tap specially for industrial kitchens: Monolith Industrial Sink Mixer
It's aimed at any commercial kitchen including medical or marine (commercial ship) kitchens and has a black plastic clinical lever both for hands free hygiene and also for safe easy operation.
It is special order which means delivery will be approx. 7 working days.

School Toilet Seats

We've identified the school sector as a market to develop. So we're adding products that satisfy that market. The latest product aimed at that market is this School Toilet Seat  (well more a toilet ring)
It's made from technoplast resin which is virtually unbreakable and combined with Bemis' statite hinges which once fitted wont come loose.
So it's not only low maintenance, but should save a lot of replacements knowing the use and abuse inflicted by school students - both accidental and deliberate!

Salonex basins

We had for sale the taps, hoses and shower handsets for our hairdressing customers, the only thing missing was the basin itself but that's now been addressed!
We now offer to order the Salonex hairdresser basin supplied through Robert Lee , a main distributor of Armitage Shanks products.
So with this addition we now supply everything needed for the professional hair care user (including TMV valves to prevent a client getting scalded.

Luxury Douche Kits

Douche kits which are requirements in many homes, do not need to be just functional.
Whilst providing an important hygiene requirement they can also be attractive components in your bathroom and now can be even more so now that Lime Kitchen & Bathroom have introduced these in real gold plated finishes so they can even add a touch of 'bling'.

Galatron Tap Cartridge

We're often being sent photos of a tap valve that we haven't been able to supply or find but all has changed!
We've found this G13 type cartridge with an unusual running track seal that's a Galatron dual cartridge suitable for numerous taps including Astracast.
Stock is due in end April 2016

Wall Mounted Sink Taps

Our wall mounted sink taps is now a proper category!
It was a bit of an excuse up till now but we've added quite a few new taps plus wall elbow fixings so not only does it now have sufficient  products to cover any customer requirement, more importantly it looks the part which is half the battle when it comes to persuading people to make a purchase.

Tap Spares

Our range of Tap Spares has expanded further with new bits from numerous suppliers. Now in stock are control valves for showers from Genebre (one of our European brands) and also due in shortly are new long stem tap valves being produced for our parent company (Hart Home Interiors) by GEANN a specialist valve company in Taiwan. They should be on sale by Mid summer 2016

TMV3 Assisted Bath Filler

Made to special order, we now offer under our Hart Medical brand,  a TMV3 Assisted Lever Bath Filler.
Made by Ramon Soler of Spain, it's assembled in our warehouse and then we add a TMV3 blending valve to ensure it is temperature safe to avoid scalds and burns.
As we anticipate that care homes and elderly users will be amongst our main customers, the addition of the TMV3 valve is a key safety component

Cheap Pre-Rinse Kitchen Tap

Our range of commercial kitchen taps is steadily expanding and now includes a European made Pre-rinse kitchen tap priced under £100 which has been designed for heavy use in any commercial kitchen eg restaurants, food preparation, hotels or marine industry to name but a few.
By choosing European products, we not only have confidence in the quality of manufacturing but also can ensure that there is a comprehensive range of spares available if needed (particularly important in commercial kitchens!)

Performa Leger Taps

We're delighted to add Performa Leger Taps to Limekitchenandbathrooms.
Made in the UK by Pegler Performa, the range included basin, bath and sink taps designed for use in tenanted and local authority properties.
Carrying WRAS approval and European Waterlabel certification, these taps are not just economical with water but are heavily engineered to produce excellent long term performance and reliability - particularly important in commercial/public sector housing.

Just added, extra long grab bar and grab rails
Made from 1.5mm thick 304 grade stainless steel by Nofer of Spain, the extra long grab rails come in 100cm and 120cm lengths with concealed fixings and stainless cover plates to provide a premium quality product suitable for both domestic and commercial bathrooms requiring a longer than standard grab bar.
